The first Margate Song Cycle is complete. What a terrifying and joyous experience it was so share a brand new (unfinished) original song amongst friends and an all-star line-up of local and legendary Margate talent. Awwwwww yes! A pleasure and an honour. I do miss my friends and appreciate you all muchos. Thanks for sharing your special songs for us in the magical Garden Gate Project, amongst the plants and produce. And a special thanks to the host Will Rees.

I have been commissioned as part of Margate NOW Festival 2021. This is a great opportunity for me to use my phonography skills to experiment with some of my field recording equipment to collect sounds from the Sunken Gardens in Westgate on Sea.
ABOUT BOUGH TALK: I’ll ? making an immersive soundscape informed by sounds collected from the garden in the coming weeks and adding in other resonant textures. Can't wait to get inside the sounds of the tress and capturing the sound world of this subtle and historical location.
Launching as Sunken Ecologies in September, the programme curated by Anna Colin takes on the human-made natural environment and centres on the Sunken Garden, a public park in the Westbrook area of Margate, designed and landscaped in the 1930’s.
Margate NOW 2021: Sunken Ecologies is guest curated by Anna Colin and is only made possible thanks to public funding from the National Lottery through Arts Council England, Kent County Council, and support from Interreg Experience and Visit Kent.
Beautiful time supporting Rick Leigh & Genevieve Dawson (LOA) at the Servants Jazz Quarters - one of my favourite venues in Dalston. Great to connect with friends after this challenging old pandemico period.

This is long overdue : My first solo musical offering. Life has many twists and turns, and the time has come to finally start sharing my sounds with you all in an incremental and gentle way. My creative journey until now has been rich and the connections I have made and collaborations I encountered thus far have all led me to this point.
'In Eynem' means 'united' in Yiddish; a word which felt apt for the present time. The importance of interconnectivity and community is what grounds and centres the music in this release. In Eynem is a portal, a way to enter into my musical world. A kind of introduction. The textures, sounds and traditional music I work with have surrounded me for many years and I is nice to share this.
Recording straight up as a live performance at Laylow in W10, London whilst supporting one of my favourite bands HEJIRA on their residency there.
